UK’s BAE Systems, CyberSecurity Malaysia extend partnership to build national security capability

The agreement between CyberSecurity Malaysia and BAE Systems has been extended for a further two years.

CyberSecurity Malaysia's Dr Amirudin said: "As we inch towards Vision 2020, the continuous development of cyber capability and capacity of agencies, organisations and individuals in Malaysia, will definitely help in making Malaysia become one of the most advanced ASEAN economies in this area."

In 2013, BAE Systems' cyber security business, Applied Intelligence opened a Global Delivery Centre in Kuala Lumpur and has grown rapidly to more than 230 cyber specialists in just over twelve months. There are plans to increase to about 350 by the end of 2015.  In addition, a collaboration agreement was signed with national infosecurity specialist CyberSecurity Malaysia.
