Kaspersky Lab announced today its latest edition of the Kaspersky Small Office Security, the company's security solution that is designed for small businesses with less than 25 employees.
Compatible with Windows and Mac-based desktops and notebooks, Windows file servers and Android mobile devices, the Kaspersky Small Office Security offers anti-malware and online transactions protection, cloud management, as well as backup and password management.
Some of the new features included in this new version are enhanced protection from all known, unknown and advanced threats, a new cloud-based management console and password management, as well as security for financial data.
In a media statement, Kaspersky claims that these features will make it easier for its users to focus their valuable resources on running and developing the business while keeping operations, customer's and employee's data secure.
"Being small doesn't mean [that businesses] are less noticeable by cybercriminals. It's very important for businesses to pay more attention to ensuring their cybersecurity, and Kaspersky Small Office Security has made it easy. It's straightforward to install, simple to configure, and easy to maintain, so that business owners can get on with doing what they do best: making the company a success," said Konstantin Voronkov, Head of Endpoint Product Management, Kaspersky Lab.
