BT has made a major upgrade to its Bt Threat Assure Threat Monitoring Service, according to a press statement by the London-based provider of telecoms services.
Existing BT Assure Threat Monitoring Service customers will be able to access the upgraded feature at no additional cost and will be standard for new customers.
The upgrade comes by way of a customizable screen enabling security professionals to better identify, react and respond to security threats.
The press statement said the upgrade has a new built-in rule creation feature enabling such customization.
It likewise has an integrated ticketing system that provides device/network management, communications and troubleshooting of event-driven incidents by both customers and BT Security Centre analysts.
The company sources said the redesigned interface addresses the need for more accurate assessment of security concerns, a need has often discouraged organizations from adopting evolving technologies such as cloud computing and BTOD.
The Assure Threat Monitoring service gathers intelligence and information from all clients' network devices and is widely used by banks and services.
