Thats according to Mogens Elsberg, the recently appointed chief executive officer for GN Netcom, a global leader for headset solutions through its Jabra branded products.

How is Jabra pursuing the enterprise sector and what potential do you see for your products for business use?
GN Netcom has two business units, one focusing on the consumer space and the larger part of our business is focused on the enterprise sector. There are two basic trends that are driving the behaviour of modern office professionals in the enterprise sector
Right now, half of all office professionals at work all over the world will NOT be working from their desks. They will be performing tasks around the office, attend meetings, participate in conference calls and video conferencing or be on the road. And more and more of us will be working from home.
Today, 95 per cent of all office workers spend part of their time on the go. The problem is that more than half miss important calls every day because they are away from their phones.
As mobility increases, it is vital that companies arm their employees with business tools that will enable them to work effectively regardless of location. To work effectively, office workers need a combination of desk phones, mobile phones and computer-based telephony, and we need access to e-mail and updated calendars from any location.
How would you describe the current environment relating to the popularity of unified communications?
To support the modern office professionals need, more and more companies turn to IP-based unified communications (UC) solutions. The business case that enterprises can present deploying UC is extremely compelling. At GN Netcom, our business case demonstrated an ROI of six months.
With the UC trend, office professionals are facing the classical obstacles with IP transmitted calls: poor sound definition and background noise. And until the Jabra GO and Jabra PRO from GN Netcom were launched, office professionals could not purchase professional headsets that simultaneously support mobile phones, desk phones, and computer-based telephony.
Thats why best-in-class headsets like Jabra GO and Jabra PRO will play a more significant role in business communication than ever before.
