Consumers in Singapore will be able to get their hands on the new Nexus 7 tablet in white from this coming Saturday (21 December 2013).

Developed by ASUS and Google, the new Nexus 7 white model is a 7-inch tablet that runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. The latest mobile operating system will deliver a more user-friendly Android interface with clearer status icons and new edge-to-edge full screen mode when using photos, movies, games, maps or books. With the new memory optimisation capability of the Android 4.4 firmware, the new tablet is said to able to multitask better than its predecessor too.

The new tablet also features built-in wireless recharging, as well as Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

Besides that, it promises a sharp full HD IPS display that is delivered by the ASUS TruVid technology, which improves colour clarity and brightness, and the IPS display technology, which provides 178-degree viewing angles.

Available in 16GB WiFi, the new Nexus 7 tablet white model will retail at S$399 (US$318). As part of this coming festive promotion, every purchase of the new tablet will entitle the consumer to a free JUMBOX Jelly Power 5200 portable powerbank, while stocks last. They are also entitled to purchase a Travel Cover at a special price of S$15 (US$12).
