A mobile technology provider is offering a subscription-based security solution that can help mid- and large-sized enterprises boost their employees’ productivity.
Given that many enterprises are now allowing their employees to access the corporate network remotely, the solution offered by Good Technology gives users peace of mind that their network remains secure while at the same time help them manage the devices connected to the network.
Good Technology is Good for Enterprise (GFE) pricing scheme for US$5 per user per month for the iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices. For the price, users can securely connect to their corporate networks to access their email, calendar information, contact details, document data and even browse the Internet.
The US-based company said the new offering is built on its secure mobility architecture, including Good Dynamics, a secure mobility platform that allows enterprises to develop their own secure solutions, or procure mobility solutions from the large and growing Good Dynamics Ecosystem.
By supporting multiple mobile platforms, users of the GFE said the business model gives their enterprises flexibility and broader options for expansion.
“The new Good for Enterprise per user subscription model provides greater commercial flexibility to expand the use of mobile solutions and productivity tools across our business,” said Ricky Higgins, chief information officer of GAM, an independent, active investment manager, delivering investment solutions to institutions, intermediaries, private clients and charities from offices in financial centres around the world. “Based on Good’s market-leading security platform, we can now give choice of new mobile devices and applications to a wider group of users than before.”
Garry Lengthorn, director of IT at Sthree, an FTSE-listed British- based international staffing business providing permanent and contract specialist recruitment services, said the GFE licensing scheme also builds productivity even with bring-your-own-device (BYOD) accommodations.
“Adoption of a true mobile strategy means customers need the most secure foundation possible,” said Christy Wyatt, CEO, Good Technology. “Enterprises today need a scalable, reliable and affordable solution that empowers their employees with a productivity suite, and that is extensible over time as their mobility strategy matures and evolves. With this Good for Enterprise offer, enterprises can simply take advantage of the same proven secure mobility solution trusted by the worlds leading banks, federal agencies and Global 2000 customers, and realise global productivity for their users.”
The GFE pricing is currently on promotion until 31 December 2013.
