Microsoft recently announced the expansion of its Surface family with the launch of its new Surface Pro 3 tablet.
Dubbed as the tablet that can replace laptops, Surface Pro 3 is powerful, portable and designed to maximise productivity, according to the software giant’s media statement.
This new lightweight model features a large, 12” ClearType HD colour-calibrated display, a continuously adjustable kickstand, improvements to processing power and an upgraded camera. It also comes with the all-new Surface Pen, which helps deliver a smooth and precise writing and drawing experience.
“So many people carry both a laptop and a tablet but really want just one device that serves all purposes,” said Panos Panay, corporate vice president of Microsoft Surface. “Surface Pro 3 is the tablet that can replace your laptop — packing all the performance of a fully powered laptop into a thin, light and beautifully designed device. You’ll love being able to carry a single device for your next class, workday or weekend getaway knowing you have all the power you need.”
By the end of August, Surface Pro 3 and selected new accessories will be available for purchase in 10 Asia Pacific markets, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan.
