M1 Limited (M1) will start offering iPad mini and the fourth generation iPad in the coming weeks, the Singapore teclo announced today.

M1 will offer these new iPads with a range of attractive data plans that will allow customers to connect to its nationwide 4G network with download speeds of up to 75Mbps, the company said in a statement.

Apple announced the launch of iPad mini, a completely new iPad design that is 23 percent thinner and 53 percent lighter than the third generation iPad, yesterday in the US. Apple has also revealed that the fourth generation iPad will come with a 9.7-inch Retina display, Apple-designed A6X chip, a new FaceTime HD camera and even faster Wi-Fi performance. Both iPad mini and fourth generation iPad come with iOS 6.

In its statement, the telco has not given any particular dates for the availability of the tablets in Singapore.
