Carphone Warehouse has confirmed that it will sell the LG G Flex curved smartphone with keen customers able to pre-order the device now. As we expected, the Android handset has a high price tag of £689 SIM-free.
Those without the capital to buy the G Flex outright can get it on a contract with a £52 per month fee and an upfront cost of £79 for the device. Various contracts are available, however, with the phone costing £49 at its cheapest and monthly fees from £16.99.
Customers who do decide to pre-order will get the chance to win one of three LG 55in curved OLED TVs worth £6,999.

"Thanks to the subtly curved design, the screen's display is crystal clear from any angle. The arch of the LG G Flex has been specifically designed to ensure that it fits comfortably both in your palm when texting and against your face when making calls." said Carphone Warehouse.
Although there is a price for the G Flex, the retailer hasn't confirmed when it will launch. Orange is launching the phone in France next month so we expect the UK release date to be within the first quarter of the year.
LG's curved screen phone will go up against Samsung's Galaxy Round which is curved side-to-side rather than top-to-bottom. The Galaxy Round has no UK launch details at the moment.
