If you've ever received and redeemed an iTunes gift card, then you will have had a credit applied to your account. But how much money have you got in your Apple ID account? Here's various ways to check your Apple ID account balance.

If you're on an iOS device, you can quickly and easily check your balance, providing you're connected to the internet. Open the iTunes Store, App Store or iBooks and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

You should now see various options, with your Apple ID and balance right under it. If you're not signed in, you'll need to tap the Sign In button and enter your Apple ID and password.

You can also check your balance within the iOS settings. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Click on your Apple ID, and you should now see your balance listed under your email address. 

If you don't have any credit on your balance, you will not see an amount, where the value won't be present.

How to check Apple ID balance - iTunes

If you've got iTunes installed, simply open the program, sign in with your Apple ID and click on the iTunes Store.

At the top right-hand side you'll see your balance. Again, if you've not got any credit on your account you won't see an amount listed.

If you're on Mac, you can also open the Mac App Store and look for the Quick Links on the right-hand side. If you're not signed into your Apple ID account, you'll need to do it in order to view your balance.
