Ride hailing app, Grab, has launched GrabKalesa to allow visitors of Intramuros to book a horse carriage ride for free from 2pm to 5pm this Saturday (20 August 2016) and Sunday (21 August 2016).

To book, Grab users must open their app, choose the GrabKalesa icon, and indicate their pick-up and drop-off points, which are only limited to the streets of Plaza De Roma and General Luna. Grab said pick-up and drop-off points must be the same to complete the transaction.

After successfully booking a ride, users must approach the Grab staff on site to avail their free 'kalesa' ride. The horse carriages will only accommodate one to three passengers.

The 'kalesa' will pass through the streets of General Luna, Real, Sta. Lucia, Muralla, A. Soriano Avenue (Aduana), Sta. Clara, and Arzobispo, where some historical establishments are situated. Establishments include Plaza de Roma, Manila Cathedral, Palacio Del Gobernador, Puerta Real, Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, and San Agustin Church.
