When Bangkok Bank, Thailand's market leader in corporate and SME banking, wanted to embrace BYOD and mobilise its employees, it turned to Good Technology for help.

Good for Enterprise (GFE) provides Bangkok Bank with secure email, calendaring, Intranet and contacts along with mobile device management for Apple, Android and Windows Phone devices.

According to secure mobile computing solution provider, this has led to the Bangkok reducing total cost of ownership by half a million dollars.

In addition to cost savings, a company (bank) survey reveals that almost 90 percent of Bangkok Bank's employees communicated that Good Technology's secure container has changed the way they work and interact with customers.

By leveraging GFE to secure critical information, Bangkok Bank has reported increased productivity across Asia, said the company in a media statement.

"We chose Good Technology for its excellent track record in the financial sector and because our employees are able to obtain the functionality they need from their preferred device," said Ian Gillard, executive vice president, Bangkok Bank.
