AirWatch-SingTel partnership for enterprise mobile management

The MDM tech provider and regional telco will together offer solutions to APAC enterprises.

AirWatch-the company that styles itself as "the global leader and innovator in mobile security and the largest Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM) provider"-announced on Wednesday (February 27, 2013) that it had entered a partnership with regional powerhouse SingTel, to offer customer organisations in Asia Pacific enterprise mobile management solutions and services.

Established since October 2012, the partnership sees to the provision of "industry-leading EMM resources to all SingTel customers" by AirWatch.

"SingTel is the premier communications provider in Singapore and Southeast Asia," said John Marshall, President and CEO, AirWatch, commenting on the partnership. "We're excited to partner with the industry leader to meet the needs of customers throughout the region and ensure we're able to support our multinational customers with our presence in the Asia Pacific region."

"We partner best-of-breed players in the ecosystem," said Lee Han Kheng, Vice President, Global Enterprise Mobility, SingTel, adding that AirWatch was one of them, and was specifically "to meet enterprise customers' needs in mobile device management."
