Zebra Technologies unveils new brand identity

This new brand vision comes nearly a year after the acquisition of Motorola Solutions’ Enterprise business.

Zebra Technologies Corporation unveiled today a new brand and logo for the company, following the acquisition of the Enterprise business from Motorola Solutions in October 2014.

The tracking technology and solutions provider has recently released its new logo on its redesigned website, as well as a vision video. This new brand vision comes nearly a year after the transaction was announced on April 15, 2014.

In a Facebook post, Zebra said that since the acquisition, it has been focused on combining the best of both companies. It wrote: "[The new look] is not just a logo. It's our promise to you that our solutions will create actionable knowledge that empowers you to make better decisions, faster."

"We are excited to unveil the new Zebra in time for the first anniversary celebrations of the acquisition announcement," said Ryan Goh, Vice President and General Manager, Zebra Technologies APAC. "My colleagues have worked tirelessly to integrate our new company's joint capabilities in real-time asset visibility, Internet of Things solutions, rugged mobility products and cloud technologies to deliver true real-time enterprise asset intelligence to our customers and partners. We are optimistic about our continued growth and success as one Zebra, especially in Asia Pacific, a key region for Zebra."
