In 2010, Vodafone Global Enterprise established a regional office in Singapore designed to spearhead the further expansion of its operations across Asia-Pacific and provide local support. It already has 140 customers which are headquartered in Asia-Pacific and a further 435 operating in the area.
Hoyle said that Vodafone Global Enterprise's huge scale also enables international business customers to benefit from attractive roaming rates, thanks to the introduction of fixed monthly fees for employees. This enables employees to make greater usage of mobile services and enjoy all the productivity benefits of working out of the office without the worry of high bills.
He believed that Vodafone is well positioned to be a leader, as multinational companies are increasingly looking to outsource their global communications needs to a single trusted provider, as well as enjoy the benefits of greater cost transparency and cost efficiencies.
