Oasis Travel, one of Pakistan's top three travel management companies, has inked the renewal of its exclusive agreement with Abacus International Asia Pacific, for the use of the travel solutions and services vendor's Abacus WorkSpace and Abacus Powersuite. This news was released on Monday (November 26, 2012).
According to sources from both companies, the extension of their relationship, which will now span another five years, means the travel agency can "look forward to increased productivity...enhanced efficiency of their system through a range of enhanced features, financial reporting tools, as well as customisable management dashboard."
The two companies had previously seen through a deal, signed three years ago, where the Karachi-based travel agency procured the solutions Abacus WebConnect, Abacus TravelIntelligence, Queue Alert and PNR Quality Control Tools. According to Oasis Travel CEO Naveed Siddiqui, their "partnership" as he calls it has been "great" and he now considers Abacus "a very much trusted partner."
"In our hunt for a suitable partner to help take us to the next level and stay ahead of the competition, we placed great emphasis on the solutions the partner would be able to offer us," Siddiqui said. "In the year that we have worked with Abacus, we have found their solutions have very much helped us increase our productivity and can always look forward to new offerings that can better meet our needs."
