The latest Windows 10 PCs are slim, powerful and pricey

Bill Snyder | Oct. 15, 2015
Better battery life, less weight, faster processors and sleek designs are a few of the reasons to consider retiring your long-in-the-tooth Windows 7 PC.

Finally, and obviously, these systems all run Windows 10. I've been using Windows 10 on two PCs, and with the exception of the lousy Edge browser, I'm generally pretty happy with it. It's a huge improvement over Windows 8, and as I get used to some of its new ways of doing things, I miss Windows 7 less than I thought I would.

Upgrading an older PC to Windows 10 isn't always a great idea, but if you buy a new machine with the OS, it won't take you long to adjust.
