Telco industry in APAC not transforming fast enough to meet customer demands: Amdocs

Adrian M. Reodique | March 1, 2016
According to Amdocs’ survey, 47 percent of respondents in APAC predict that their companies will take more than five years to transform.

In line with this, 43 percent of the respondents said that they will be investing in managed services in the next 12 months as part of their transformation to enable solutions for new areas.

When embarking on digital transformation, Kumar advised service providers to have a clear strategy that is aligned to the organisation. "You cannot have gaps between technology and business. Business and technology need to be hand in hand."

Service providers must also automate processes to survive and thrive in a digital environment, and tap on a partner who could deploy digital transformation strategies while maintaining the business' operations. "They need to find a partner who's able to say 'I'll take this transformation responsibility for you'," said Kumar.
