Singapore Exchange rolls out Virtual Environments

Using technology by InterCall, the new service enables listed companies to build their own virtual marketing, recruitment and training platforms.

The Singapore Exchange (SGX) has entered a partnership with InterCall Asia Pacific that sees to the delivery of brand new Virtual Environment technology to companies listed on its exchange.

In a statement issued Monday (January 30), InterCall, a global provider of conferencing and collaboration services, cited a number of important features users can expect to take advantage of from the Virtual Environments. Among them, the ability to “build and customise virtual marketing, recruiting and training environments” with ease, and many ways for peer engagement and collaborative work.

Mita Natarajan, The Head of Corporate Services at SGX–which is reputedly “Asia’s most internationalised exchange” with more than 40 percent of its listed companies “originating outside of Singapore”–was quoted saying that the virtual platform
provides SGX-listed companies with another avenue to raise their company profiles with investors and customers” and “adds to SGX’s expanding suite of corporate services to promote investor outreach and board excellence.”
