Siemens PLM Software and Frontal Software will together help industrial customers adopt PLM software.

Siemen's software unit has recently forged a partnership with Frontal Software to help industrial customers adopt product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions faster given the synergies between the two companies.

Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a global provider of PLM software and services, said the partnership will specifically help PLM customers in India.

Siemens said that with PLM being more widely accepted in the manufacturing sector, it is tapping the expertise of Frontal Software, a provider of IT solutions in India which has a PLM practice. Siemens said manufacturers, in particular, consider investing in PLM with its capabilities for product development collaboration and with the importance of time-to-market.

"Siemens PLM Software remains focused, not only on developing innovative solutions for our clients, but on creating partnerships that help streamline clients' access to those technologies. Frontal Software's industry domain knowledge and vast expertise in providing information solutions to manufacturers will provide significant business value to our clients," said Suman Bose, managing director, Siemens PLM Software, India.
