Global IT services provider NTT DATA Corporation (NTT DATA) announced on Thursday (February 27, 2013) that upon "the completion of its fiscal third quarter" it had "reached US$1 billion in SAP software related services globally." Company representatives attributed much of the "continued growth in [NTT DATA's] mid to large enterprise market focus" and "double digit growth in mature markets in North America and Europe, and emerging markets in Asia" to their running with "a cohesive Global ONE strategy [that aligns the companies various] capabilities and client services in support of SAP solutions."
They said that NTT DATA has a lot of resources to call on as it provides clients a "complete lifecycle of services for SAP solutions" that includes implementation, pre- and post-implementation consulting, upgrades, applications management and hosting. They also said that they have made "significant investments in proprietary frameworks, tools, and accelerators to increases speed to market, improve quality and provide innovative client solutions" and continue "to invest in solutions and expertise in emerging technologies such as SAP HANA software, Cloud and 16 industry-specific solutions built on the SAP ERP application designed specifically for clients in the middle market."
At present, NTT DATA can count among its global client community of 2,500 medium and large clients, organisations that come from the whole spectrum of industries. Among them: Allied Mills, Hitachi America, Honeywell, Palo Alto Networks, Smurfit Kappa, Ticketmaster, T-Mobile USA and Unilever. These companies are currently served by more than 6,000 consultants with expertise in SAP solutions.
