KUALA LUMPUR, 18 OCTOBER 2010 -- Digital equipment firm BenQ has launched a new range of projectors tailored for the education and corporate sectors, it said.
Interactive teaching and business presentations can be taken to a new level, according to BenQ Singapore managing director, Lee Kim Huat, during the launch in Malaysia.
Lee said that the first in the lineup is the MP780ST PointDraw projector that comes with comprehensive, thoughtful and practical features for the classroom and boardroom. "This latest projector adds a touch of fun and excitement in learning as well as presenting with the uniquely designed Q Draw interactive teaching tool and PointDraw pen to boost the audience's attention, focus and performance."
He added that a networking solution has been introduced to ease maintenance and control in the MP780ST PointDraw model.
"The network provides a simplified real-time, wide central access and control over a single projector or through groups of projectors simultaneously via a single station," he said, adding that other new projectors launched were MX761, MX760, MX711, MX710, MX660, MX615, and MS614 models.
Benefits of LAN control
"Presentations are made easier by enabling remote presentations with LAN Display and Remote Desktop," said Lee. "Users can present their slides with a wireless keyboard and mouse while leaving their laptops in a different venue. The benefits of LAN [local area network] control also include partial projection display option for an easier content management while providing simultaneous image display support for different events. This system can manage to a maximum of four computers to one display."
"The MP780ST PointDraw projector comes with short-throw technology and equipped with full HD brightness performance as well as 3D projection," he said. BenQ released its first 3D-ready projector models in 2009 and 3D-readied models for 2010 to provide seamless 3D projection with foresight to 3D visual technology being the upcoming trend in the market."
BenQ, one of the top two brands in Malaysia and a projector leader has kept abreast on the latest technology trends and set to bring enjoyment and quality to life to all Malaysians, said Lee. Here at BenQ, we make it our top priority to identify the day-to-day challenges that take place in schools and in the offices and replace them with new tools and practical maintenance features that are affordable and user-friendly.
