Filipino boxing icon and Senator-elect Manny Pacquiao has invested and inked a deal with Singapore-based mobile gaming company GToken.

According to GToken's Facebook post on Monday (6 June 2016), Pacquiao has acquired a "meaningful stake" in the company.

"We are especially honoured to have Senator Manny Pacquiao believing and investing in our vision to build the fastest growing crowdsourcing community for gamers, developers and publishers alike," said Kenneth Mark Yong, CEO of GToken, in a report from Playtoken - a digital currency platform for mobile games.

"As a world champion in professional sports and a fighter all my life, I know what it takes to succeed on the global scale," said Pacquiao on the same report. "I'm confident that GToken has that special fighting spirit to be one of the strongest global players in the mobile gaming and advertising space and I'm proud to be part of the team."

GToken is a platform that publishes crowdsourced mobile games.
