Riding on such success, NCL is also developing their own RFID project, by tagging personalized uniform for other customers.
Aiming to launch the initial stage of the project in September, Yuen said NCL will buy and place 15K tags from Tagsys for its customers. A test lab will also be established to conduct testing on reading accuracy at the production environment.
"This is not a project about increasing revenue," he said. "But it is a significant one to enhance customer relationship and achieve operational efficiency.
