The Ezio Mobile Suite will be integrated with JETCO’s mobile application to provide strong authentication, data encryption and advanced protection against malware attacks.

Bank consortium Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (JETCO) will be leveraging Gemalto's Ezio Mobile Suite, including servers for mobile enrollment and provisioning, authentication and messaging, to secure its peer-to-peer (P2P) mobile payment service in Hong Kong.

The Ezio Mobile Suite will be integrated with JETCO's mobile application to provide strong authentication, data encryption and advanced protection against malware attacks.

This move will allow users to seamlessly transfer funds directly from their bank accounts to their friends via P2P payments using mobile numbers.

"Gemalto's Ezio solution not only reduces our time to market, but also fully complies with Hong Kong Monetary Authority's security requirements. Looking ahead, we will keep pursue and exploit exciting business opportunities together as we both share commitment to deliver world-class products and services to our customers in Hong Kong and beyond," said Angus Choi, CEO of JETCO Hong Kong.
