Wireless and corded headsets company, Jabra, has selected Synnex to be one of its distributors in Australia.
Terms of the deal will see Synnex distribute Jabra's consumer product line into new markets where it has already established a presence, with the move following a handful of new partnerships that the distributor has been making recently.
As part of the deal, Synnex will commence distribution of Jabra's wireless sports audio, call-centric, music and in-car range.
Jabra A/NZ mobile senior director of sales, Matt Segafredo, said the company has appointed a new distributor to drive Australian growth.
"Aimed at fuelling Jabra's expansion strategy across Australia, the strategic partnership will enable the company to penetrate new markets where Synnex has already established a robust local presence.
"With its deep local market expertise and broad regional network, we are delighted to be working with Synnex at such an exciting time, as we look to elevate our growth efforts and expand Jabra's footprint across Australia," Segafredo said.
According to Segafredo, this partnership will also provide Jabra with an even greater breadth of opportunity to achieve cut-through in new markets, beyond its traditional mass market retailers.
"Importantly, we are confident that our innovative solutions, coupled with Synnex's broad distribution, will enable both companies and the reseller community to generate new revenue streams and further drive growth," he added.
Synnex Australia product director, Jay Ko, said one of Synnex's key strategies is helping channel partners establish strong business models through ongoing revenue streams.
"This partnership adds another layer to our offering for channel partners giving them more products in the audio device solutions space," he added.
In Australia, Jabra is also represented by Distribution Central, Ingram Micro Australia and VExpress Distribution.
