Indonesia’s Tiket.com better secures its platform with Cybersource

Tiket.com - an online travel agent in Indonesia - has  partnered Cybersource to provide customers with a safer platform to make online payments during bookings. 

According to a study by research firm Phocuswright and travel company Expedia, hotel bookings made through online travel agents in Indonesia are projected to grow by IDR2 trillion (USD 149 million) annually, due to a consistent 200-300 percent increase in online travel bookings.

To take advantage of the burgeoning e-commerce activity,  Tiket.com deployed Cybersource's payment solutions to manage multiple customer channels via a single platform, and keep tabs on fraudulent transactions.

This has enabled Tiket.com to retain customer loyalty and grow its base without a significant increase in complaints. The company has also been able to maintain a fraud rate below the industry average and doubled its revenue in the past year.
