Huawei forms partnerships with SAP and NXP

Huawei has formed partnerships with SAP and NXP and is exploring Industry 4.0 market.

SAP and Huawei jointly developed the FusionCube for SAP HANA solution for the global integrated energy and chemical group Sinopec.

The solution improves the database loading performance by 60%, reduces the data upload time from four hours to 30 minutes, and increases the data processing speed by 4x to 6x.

The FusionCube for SAP HANA solution also significantly increases Sinopec's efficiency in processing financial and sales reports and corporate decision-making.

"The close cooperation between SAP and Huawei not only increase business outcomes but also streamlines Sinopec's financial management," Dr. Uwe Hommel, executive vice president and global support group leader of SAP.

Technical cooperation

Huawei and NXP Semiconductors have decided upon technical cooperation and joint innovation to create an open, robust and secure Industry 4.0 Information and Communication Technology platform.

Both companies will also work towards further expanding their business in the Chinese and global Industry 4.0 market.

As per the agreement, Huawei and NXP will collaborate in the areas including physical layer, network layer, and cyber security.

Huawei's ICT infrastructure and connectivity solutions will be completely integrated with NXP's secure connectivity solutions for Industry 4.0.

Together, the companies will focus on Industry 4.0 applications including factory automation, logistics 4.0, wireless secure connections, and sensor networks.
