HK-based JOS undergoes organisational realignment to be more agile

The company's distribution and direct businesses will now be operating as separate entities.

Jardine OneSolutions (JOS), a Hong Kong-based IT services and solutions provider, has realigned its operations in an effort to enhance its business agility.

According to JOS' media statement, the new structure - in which the company's distribution and direct businesses will be operating independently - aims to enable JOS to respond more efficiently and effectively to changing market trends and customer needs.

"The new structure enables us to focus more substantial resources on meeting our customers' changing needs as well as to provide dedicated attention and customised support to our vendors and resellers... which will take JOS to the next level of growth," said Eric van der Hoeven, chief executive officer of JOS.

Previously organised by geographic location, JOS' distribution businesses across Asia will now operate as one division focusing on vendor and channel partnerships. By doing so, JOS will be able to better foster, leverage and deploy its local and regional expertise by promoting knowledge transfer and best practice development between markets, said JOS.

The same integration will be reflected in JOS' direct business, which focuses on end-user customers.
