If you dread doing chores and prefer someone else to do it for you, you can now hire the services of experienced home cleaners with Helpling Singapore's new mobile app.
The app syncs with phone calendar apps to set alerts when a cleaner needs access to the home, enables single and recurring bookings, and allows for payment via credit or debit card.
According to Helpling Singapore, the app enables the company to transit from e-commerce to mobile commerce (m-commerce). By doing so, it is able to tap on the increasing volume of purchases made via mobile devices in Singapore. According to IDC, m-commerce is expected to grow in the Asia Pacific excluding Japan region to nearly US$67 billion by 2018.
"Since Singaporeans are comfortable with the ease of mobile shopping for local services, we have introduced the app to enable users/customers to book an experienced cleaner with a few touches," said Hoe Yeen Teck, CEO of Helpling Singapore.
The app is free for download from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Cleaning services are priced at S$20 per hour, and payments will only be processed after the job is completed, concluded Helpling Singapore.
