Fuji Electric has announced that its new 7200BX Series Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) system is now available to the Asian market. The move is in response to the increasing demand for UPS in the region as a source of backup power in the event of outages on production lines and for IT equipments.
Equipped with the company's original three-level reverse blocking IGBT (AT-NPC3 IGBT), the 7200BX Series UPS will help reduce the amount of power loss and enhance total energy savings. Fuji Electric said that customers will be able to achieve a total output efficiency of up to 97 percent with this new UPS.
In addition, the total output efficiency is further improved for UPS with capacity of above 40 kVA when operating at low load conditions. For a more reliable UPS system, power unit modules simply need to be configured in a redundant system manner. Up to four UPS units can be configured in parallel (for increased capacity) for n+1 redundant operation system.
The 7200BX Series UPS also offers scalability. Power unit modules (20 kVA module) for up to 200 kVA in single unit operation can be added to the UPS when customers need to increase the capacity.
According to Fuji Electric, the 7200BX Series UPS will be manufactured and produced from their new factory in Thailand to help shorten production lead time.
