Business software firm Epicor has scored a project in China to upgrade an industrial manufacturer's enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
Epicor Software Corporation said its ERP solution is expected to enhance operational efficiencies in the Yan Hing Group, a manufacturer of plastic injection moulding and die casting machines. Shenzhen-based Yan Hing said it is upgrading to Epicor's solution to be able to expand further in the market and stay ahead of competition.
The ERP solution will help Yan Hing to break out from its legacy information system which was restricting the company from planning for growth. The Epicor Dashboard can help Yan Hing management get a better view of business operations with the solution's simple and clear data formats.
Yan Hing said the Epicor solution allows them to view data including costs, stocks, resources and procurement of resources in hand. Access to such data enables the company to respond quickly to customer requirements to save on time and manpower.
"Epicor solutions are more thorough, detailed and comprehensive when compared to other ERP suppliers in Hong Kong and China," said Leonard Leung, president, Yan Hing Group. "In addition, many machine manufacturing companies have already selected the Epicor ERP system and we strongly believe that it can help to monitor our overall production processes and improve operational efficiency."
The 60-plus-year-old Yan Hing Group operates a purpose-built industry complex with advanced manufacturing facilities back by ISO9001 quality assurance accreditation.
"The Epicor ERP solution is easy to implement and has a long history of supporting the manufacturing industry. We look forward to growing our relationship with Yan Hing as we continue to support their growth as a leader in their field," said Vincent Tang, senior regional director, Epicor for Hong Kong, South China and Taiwan.
Aside from providing business software solutions to the manufacturing sector, Epicor Software also builds solutions for the distribution, retail and services sector.
