Start-up founders looking to take their business to the next level are being encouraged to attend the Hureka 2014 conference in Germany next month.
The event, now in its third year, will be held in Berlin, which is now considered to be one of Europe's leading tech hubs and often compared to California's Silicon Valley.
Hosted by the company behind start-up publication VentureVillage, Vertical Media, the Hureka 2014 conference aims to give entrepreneurs the chance to meet with potential investors and find out more about Berlin accelerator programs, such as those offered by Wayra and Axel Springer.
Entrepreneurs will also be able to hear from 40 like-minded speakers who have gone on to work for, or work alongside, some of Berlin's most successful technology companies. For example, Zalando managing director Robert Gentz, Get your Guide co-founder Tao Tao, Lovoo's Benjamin Bak and Wooga's Jan Miczaika will all be giving talks on how to grow a technology company.
At the event, start-ups will also be given the chance to pitch their company to an audience of interested parties at the "Demo Mile".
Mark Hoffmann, co-founder and CEO of Vertical Media, said: "Attendees cannot only draw new knowledge from the speeches and workshops but also have an opportunity to network with investors and like-minded guests."
Hureka 2014 takes place on 6 May at a former coin mint in Berlin called the Alte Mnze. Entrepreneurs can purchase tickets from 250 via the event's website.
