D-Link A/NZ's newest managing director, Jacky Chang
Networking vendor, D-Link, has appointed former vice-president of South Asia, Jacky Chang, as A/NZ managing director, replacing Domenic Torre.
In an exclusive interview with ARN, Torre mentioned that he made the decision to leave D-Link as it was time for a change.
Chang will move from the company's Taiwan base to the Sydney office.
In his new role, he will focus on driving D-Link and its partners' shared vision and strategies, as well as expand on the company's range of networking solutions.
"My focus will be on further growing the business through close associations with our channel partners and customers in the A/NZ market. One of my key goals will be to look at further improvements where we can work smarter and faster, and provide greater value to our customers," Chang said.
D-Link A/NZ managing director, Maurice Famularo, said the new hire displays the company's commitment to growing the networking business together with partners in the region.
"Jacky's appointment comes at a pivotal time for D-Link as we continue to expand our networking, broadband and wireless technology capabilities," Famularo said.
Chang has had extensive experience in D-Link, holding several positions in the company over the last 16 years.
Prior to his promotion as vice-president of South Asia in 2012, he held the position of regional director of emerging markets and business development since 2006.
