Arrow Electronics has opened its first facility in Singapore to provide a range of IT asset disposition and reverse logistics services to customers in the Asia-Pacific.
A press statement by the Colorado-based provider of enterprise computing solutions said the new facility now provides the following services: logistics, asset tracking and reporting, data testing, data sanitization, testing and screening, recycling, remarketing, service parts management and product returns management for a wide variety of electronic equipment.
The press statement said the new facility complies with local, national and international standards for data security and environmental regulations, some of these standards being the following: Responsible Recycling Practices (R2), OHSAS 18001 and International Standards organization (ISO) 9001 and 14001.
Arrow Electronics also provides products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components.
