Apple has raised over $65 million for (RED) in fight against AIDS

Apple has raised more than $65 million for the (RED) charity to help fight AIDS.

(RED) sent out a tweet on Thursday that reads: "Bono at #CGI2013 on @RED partners: "Apple is certainly leading the crew" Thank you Apple for raising over $65 million to fight AIDS."

Apple has been selling (Product) RED devices and cases since as far back as 2006, and since then has managed to raise more than $65 million (over £40 million) for the charity, which is lead by U2's Bono.

Apple currently offers seven (Product) RED products: an iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iPod touch, iPad mini Smart Cover, iPad Smart Cover, iPad Smart Case and iPhone 4s bumper.
