As part of its expansion plans, Hong Kong's low-fare airline HK Express (HKE) has inked a partnership with payment provider Worldpay to address its customers' payment needs.
As HKE grows in existing markets and plans to expand to new geographies, Worldpay's global reach and multi-currency pricing will help it achieve its ambitious objectives, according to a joint statement. Worldpay will do so by providing HKE with analytics and optimisation services to help it increase acceptance rates and drive incremental revenue.
"Worldpay's range of currencies and trusted consultancy on alternative payment methods allows us to offer our customers the opportunity to pay in their preferred way in their local currency," said Andrew Cowen, Deputy CEO of HKE. "Offering our customers the best payment experience can only lead to increased transaction volumes," he added.
With more than 25 years of experience in the airline industry, Worldpay understands the opportunities and challenges of this sector. The company "looks forward to supporting HKE by providing a better payment experience for its customers as it continues to add to its payments infrastructure and expand, said Mike Parkinson, WorldPay's VP Airlines.
