The increasing dominance of Mobile in Malaysia means that while MDM is an important part of mobility management, Malaysian businesses must be able to effectively deploy and manage work apps and content to help employees be more productive and be able to serve customers better. That requires full Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
We are seeing that the demand from businesses in Malaysia is changing. When we interact with banks or the government agencies, we are trying to educate businesses on enterprise mobility and guide businesses to make sound decisions in the right direction.
Businesses in Malaysia are not yet aware that our solutions go beyond just Mobile Device Management, and that we have moved up the mobile stack, which means we can manage other devices as well as BlackBerry devices.
In Malaysia, we are still involved in the education phase, especially when businesses start seeing issues on their own doorstep, such as hacking. However, companies are steadily becoming more aware of the new security landscape and are starting to review their security investment.
