The made-in-Japan Fujitsu Touch Tablet - QH582 - is the world's slimmest, water- and dust-resistant tablet in the word, according to Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific, during the recent launch in Malaysia.

Powered by Windows 8 and Intel Atom processor Z2760, the tablet also offers a long battery lifespan, said Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific (FPCA) Malaysia country manager, Yap Hui Hui.

"With the STYLISTIC QH582, we have packed great functionality, power and beauty in a small form factor that is both desirable and easy to use at the convenience of the users' fingertips," said Yap.

"Measuring at 9.9mm slim and lightweight at 574g, the 10.1-inch, strengthened scratch resistant glass panel of QH582 is especially useful for mobile executives, students and service industry personnel," she said.

"With more than 20 years of experience in producing innovative and quality tablets, Fujitsu's QH582 is the ideal answer to Malaysia's smart on-the-go devices. I believe it will be a very practical device for both consumers and commercial users," Yap said, adding that the QH582 comes with a 720p High Definition (HD) front camera and a 8.0MP rear camera that are ideal for Web conferencing or instant online chatting.
