Verizon workers have been told that they cannot take holiday at the end of September, in yet another indication that Apple will launch the new iPhone on 21 September.
Verizon employees have been told that they cannot take any time of between Friday 21 September and Sunday 30 September, according to a TechCrunch source.
Ofcom's approval of Everything Everywhere's application to bring 4G to the UK this September suggests that the company will be the only UK operator to offer a 4G version of the iPhone 5 when it launches.
Various iPhone 5 components allegedly leaked from Apple's supply chain have been found to fit together "perfectly," adding credibility to the rumours that the sixth-generation device will be taller, with a smaller dock connector and a repositioned headphone jack.
It looks likely that the iPhone 5 will launch on the 12 September, and could be available to pre-order for a 21 September release on the same day. Several analysts believe that the event will be the biggest electronics launch in history.
