Unilever will further tap into eYeka's open creativity and crowdsourcing platform with their recent partnership that has taken effect since 1 June 2013.
Through the partnership, eYeka's online community of 250,000 creators from 154 countries are tasked to create marketing and communication campaigns for Unilever brands that are in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Russia and South Africa markets.
Rahul Welde, vice president (media) for Asia, Africa, Middle East, Turkey and Russia at Unilever, said: "At Unilever, we believe in putting people first. A key role for us as marketers is to create magic and to excite people with innovative ideas. Inviting creative consumers to give their best ideas offers Unilever a great opportunity to re-invent and challenge ourselves."
This is not the first collaboration between the eYeka community and Unilever. The online community has previously worked on a number of projects for Unilever's brands, including Cornetto, Lifebuoy, Clear, and Lipton, for two years.
