AOC, the in-house brand of global monitor manufacturing behemoth TPV, has released two monitors in Australia, the 68P and the 77F.
A DisplayPort can be used to synchronise multiple displays, while MHL will charge and mirror a smartphone's display
The 28-inch 68P has been designed with professionals in mind, such as architects, graphic designers and users of CAD/CAM 3D modelling software. It tops the range with a Ultra high definition (3840x2160) resolution and a 1 millisecond response time.
The monitor will work with a range of devices by supporting modern and analogue connections. These include HDMI, a DisplayPort, mobile high definition link (MHL) and a VGA port.
The 68P comes with a 90 degree pivoting stand which allows it to be viewed in portrait or landscape orientation.
Lower in the range is the 27-inch 77F, a Full HD monitor bordered by side bezels measuring 4mm thick. The 77F uses an IPS panel for a 178 degree viewing angle, has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a response time of 5 milliseconds. The monitor supports MHL, HDMI and DisplayPort connections.
The AOC 68P and 77F are available now for $699 and $399 respectively.
