Malaysian telco U Mobile has signed with local multi-country mobile technology enabler Macro Kiosk (MACROKIOSK) to provide enterprise messaging services for mass and niche market business communications via SMS blasts with two-way SMS communication.
The new service, which is called Biz SMS Blast, will help the country's enterprise customers built rapport with their customers, said U Mobile chief executive officer Jaffa Sany Ariffin, who said the service would run on MACROKIOSK's Global Enterprise Messaging platform is provided through an integrated and controlled environment via a Web based application.
"We at U Mobile are constantly making strategic initiatives in providing greater value to all our customers and this service is the testament to one of our on-going efforts," said Jaffa Sany. "The service is ideal for our enterprise, retailers, corporate and SME customers. It is easily managed and the single point of connection and support makes it more cost effective. Global Enterprise Messaging platform will allow our customers to reach more than 500 mobile operators and 2 billion mobile subscribers in both Postpaid and Prepaid segments worldwide."
