Malaysian telco U Mobile has announced postpaid plans for two new smartphone models - HTC One X and One V - from as low as RM28 (US$9.12) per month.

Customers can pair both HTC models, which are powered by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, with a hybrid plan of voice, SMS and data services within a single package, said U Mobile in a statement in early April.

U Mobile offers three plans ranging from U28 (US$9.12 per month), which comes with mobile Internet of up to 1GB, and 300 free SMS per month, to U88 for RM88 (US$28.70) per month with 3GB, 300 free SMS and 300 minutes of free calls per month.

HTC One X, powered with Beats Audi, is offered from RM1,359 (US$443), while the HTC One V is at RM389 (US$126.87) from U Mobile.
