Tenego to hit the Australian market

Tenego Sydney looks to assist Australian technology companies expand into new markets.

Sales channel development services company, Tenego Partnering, has established its Sydney office as part of expanding its global network. The Ireland-based company has also partnered with Sales As A Service, the outsourcing sister company of NovaTech Ventures.

According to Tenego Partnering global network director, Dermot Carberry, Sales As A Service will allow the company to develop opportunity for technology businesses based in Australia and New Zealand, both into and out of the region.

Tenego managing director, Brian O'Doherty, will head up the Sydney office. In his new role, O'Doherty aims to provide international sales channel development services to local companies.

"Sales As A Service has been assisting overseas technology companies enter the Australian marketplace since 2011, and sees the potential for the global network reach and strong methodology of Tenego Partnering to accelerate this," said O'Doherty.

"We believe this will allow us to assist an increasing number of overseas technology companies grow their business down under. We see the potential for Tenego to assist Australian technology companies take their products offshore."

Previously, O'Doherty was Sterling Commerce Australia regional director for four years, assisting Sterling in rolling out its operations within Australia. Prior to this, he worked as a senior executive at NEIS, one of Australia's first local Electronic Commerce companies.

He has also been a board member of Australia's national Electronic Commerce body, Tradegate Electronic Commerce Australia.
