Telco giant Telstra has acquired unified communications integrator, NSC Group, for an undisclosed sum.
NSC has about 230 staff supporting more than 600 customers across Asia Pacific region.
Telstra Network Applications and Services head, David Burns, said the acquisition would strengthen its contact centre technology services.

"Contact centre solutions are highly valued by our customers and NSC's technical skills, integration capability and reputation for speed to market make this an important and exciting addition to our NAS portfolio.
Burns said adding NSC's capability to Telstra's own unified communications and network-based services including cloud, managed networks and security, will help it create even more compelling solutions for customers.
NSC Group Chairman, Craig Neil, said the acquisition would give Telstra complete contact centre capability and give current NSC customers access to the broader range of Telstra's products and services.
"We know our customers will continue to receive outstanding service and our people will add great capability to Telstra," Neil said.
Telstra's Network Applications and Services portfolio provides enterprise and business customers managed network services including cloud, security and communications services.
In the year ended 30 June 2013, the portfolio increased revenue by 17.7 per cent for the year, including the commencement of a $1.1 billion six year contract with the Department of Defence as well as international agreements with Jetstar and Fitness First.
