Sky Television and Telecom will not renew their current contract which involves the resale of the NZ-operated satellite provider's services to the latter's customers.
According to a statement, the two parties are working to minimise any impact of the decision on Telecom customers with a Sky TV bundle who will now be migrated back to Sky.
Sky expects all transfers to be completed by the end of May.
While neither party commented on the reasons for the non-renewal, both Sky and Telecom remain open to working together in the future.
