Tableau opens new APAC office in Singapore

This launch marks Singapore’s importance as Tableau’s regional hub, and it is also marks a culmination of successive expansions of operations across the region in recent months.

Tableau Software unveiled yesterday (Oct 1) its new office at Beach Road in Singapore.

According to the company, this office opening marks Singapore's importance as Tableau's regional hub; as well as a culmination of successive expansions of operations across the region in recent months.

Besides Singapore, Tableau also has other offices in Tokyo and Shanghai.

With this launch, the 50,000 square feet office will have the capacity to hold more than 300 employees, and occupy four levels in South Beach Developments.

"As Singapore takes steps to become the world's first Smart Nation, we find that it continues to be the perfect location to expand in the region," said JY Pook, Vice President of APAC for Tableau. "Our mission to help people see and understand data fits in well with the nation's innovative landscape and plans for transformation in the next 50 years."
