Sony’s compact wireless speaker now available in Singapore

Nurdianah Md Nur | April 4, 2013
Available at all Sony stores for S$99 till 21 April 2013.

Sony's wireless speaker the size of a tennis ball

Size does not matter, and this is especially true in the case of Sony’s SRS-BTV5 wireless speaker, which made its debut at CES earlier this year.

Even though it is no bigger than a tennis ball, the SRS-BTV5 speaker is able to deliver music to all parts of the room with Sony’s 360-degree Circle Sound audio diffusion technology.

Pairing is made easy as a single touch is all it takes to pair your NFC smartphone to the portable speaker before it is ready to entertain you with five hours of continuous wireless playback.

It also works like a hands-free car kit: when a call comes in, you will just have to press the answering key and the music will fade and you can take the call hands-free.

Available in black, pink, blue and white, the SRS-BTV5 is now available at all Sony stores in Singapore. It retails at a promotional price of S$99 (US$79.93) till 21 April 2013 and will resume its recommended retail price of S$119 (US$98.10) thereafter.
