Much like the smaller version of the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9190) will be a shrunken version of the Galaxy S4. The device was rumoured prior to the Galaxy S4 launch event but no mention was made by the firm.
According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S4 mini will launch this summer in June or July following the 26 April release date of its bigger brother. This could be around the same time Apple announces its iPhone 6.
You can see the photo of the Galaxy S4 mini above and specifications include a 4.3in SuperAMOLED qHD screen - that's 0.7in smaller than the Galaxy S4's display which has a Full HD resolution.
Other specifications include a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.2.2 with TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0. There's no other details at the moment unfortunately, no price or remaining specifications such as camera, storage or RAM.
As with the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S3 mini, the Galaxy S4 mini looks like quite a downgrade from the flagship version even though it shares the same design. The qHD resolution (540 x 960) means a pixel density of 256ppi compared to 441ppi of the Galaxy S4.
Beyond the Galaxy S4 mini, Samsung has confirmed it is making a smartwatch and rumour has it that the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 devices will be revealed in September at IFA.
